During her well-publicized round-the-world flight\, Earhart\, along with her navigator Fred Noonan\, disappeared. On July 2\, 1937\, they were flying over the Pacific Ocean on their way to Howland Island when they suddenly were unable to establish two-way communications or find the island. A subsequent search by the U.S. Navy found nothing. The few known details of this tragedy instantly made headlines throughout the world. Since then\, their fate has remained one of history's most debated mysteries. Over the decades\, facts have been skewed to support various theories. However\, a close examination of all those facts may help us understand the truth.
