Grand Opening Kilwins Siesta Key
Kilwins Chocolates, Fudge & Ice Cream located in Siesta Village at 5140 Ocean Boulevard in Siesta Key, is celebrating their Grand Opening on Saturday, July 8th from Noon to 10 p.m.
Kilwins Siesta Key officially opened their doors on December 22, 2022. This new, local Kilwins store offers a variety of products including hand-crafted Chocolates, made-in-store, hand-paddled Mackinac Island Fudge, “The Perfect” Caramel Apples, Caramel Corn & Brittle, Chocolate-Dipped treats, and Kilwins Original Recipe Ice Cream. Like all Kilwins stores, Kilwins Siesta Key features an open kitchen where customers can view products being made fresh, right in the store.
Kilwins Siesta Key Franchisee/Store Owner, Lance Cassagnol, is excited to bring a taste of Kilwins to his hometown. A lifetime resident of Siesta Key, Lance grew up skateboarding in Siesta Village, eating ice cream on a local stoop. He started his career as a line cook, attended college in Australia for Marine Biology, and returned to the area to build a successful investment banking company. Cassagnol wanted to return to his food service roots and build a legacy for his four children. He had visited the Sarasota Kilwins store at St. Armands Circle for years with his family, and he knew Kilwins was the perfect fit for his next business venture. Cassagnol looks forward to building a business in Siesta Key that continues the Kilwins history of quality and exceptional service.
Cassagnol and his team would like to cordially invite the Siesta Key community to be a part of their official Grand Opening festivities on Saturday, July 8th from Noon to 10 p.m. There will be free samples, activities for kids, and the Kilwins Moose will be onsite to take photos and keep the kids entertained until 5 p.m. The event promises to be fun for all ages!
