Sarasota-Manatee Ohio State Alumni Club Announces $15,000 Captain Curt’s Stewart Family Honorary Scholarship for 2026–2027
The Sarasota-Manatee Ohio State Alumni Club is proud to announce the launch of the Captain Curt’s Stewart Family Honorary Scholarship, a prestigious new award providing $15,000 in financial support to an outstanding student for the 2026–2027 academic year.
This significant scholarship reflects the Club’s ongoing commitment to academic excellence, leadership, and community engagement among students connected to The Ohio State University. The Captain Curt’s Stewart Family Honorary Scholarship will recognize a high-achieving individual who demonstrates exceptional scholastic performance, strong character, and a dedication to service.
Named in honor of Stewart Family, a beloved local family and longtime supporter of education and community initiatives, the scholarship embodies the spirit of generosity, perseverance, and Buckeye pride.

- Eligibility: incoming or current Ohio State students from the Sarasota-Manatee region, academic merit, etc.]
