New Service Providers for Solid Waste Collection
Beginning in March 2025, businesses located in unincorporated Sarasota County will have a new service provider. The current agreement with Waste Management, Inc. expires March 29, 2025, and the transition to the new service providers will take effect on March 31, 2025. Siesta Key's Trolley Rebranded
Sarasota County commemorates the two millionth passenger milestone on its Siesta Key trolley. To mark the special occasion, the trolley is being rebranded as the Route 77 Siesta Islander. This rebrand includes a new name, updated appearance and improved app features.
